22.11.2016 - Komm, wir gehen Welpen angucken!

Unseren ersten Besuch bei den Welpen sind wir mit etwas gemischten Gefühlen angetreten, da wir nicht einschätzen konnten, ob uns die Hundemama bereits nach drei Wochen bereitwillig in die Nähe der Wurfkiste lässt. Aber alle Sorgen waren umsonst, denn Smilla zeigte sich tatsächlich als stolze Mutter und konnte es selbst scheinbar nicht abwarten, ihre kleinen Racker uns (bis dato) Fremden zu zeigen. Man sehe nur im obigen Bild den selbstzufriedenen Gesichtsausdruck, nach dem Motto: "Und?  ...habe ich das nicht gut hin gekriegt?"

Am Ende der dritten Lebenswoche bringen es manche der Welpen bereits auf 2.000 Gramm - ein wahres Wunder, wie schnell das geht.

November 22, 2016 - "Come, we're going to look at puppies!"

Our first visit to the puppies we started with somemixed feelings, because we could not estimate whether the dog mom would let us ready after three weeks near the litter box. But all worries were in vain, because Smilla actually showed herself to be a proud mother and apparently couldn't wait to show her little rackers to us (to date) strangers. You can see in the above picture the self-satisfied facial expression, according to the motto: "And?  ... haven't I done that well?"

 At the end of the third week of life, some of the puppies already bring it to 2,000 grams - a real miracle how fast this can be done.
